Management

Karl F. Buhl

Karl’s experience spans both Fortune 50 executive management and entrepreneurship.

On the corporate side he was formerly an executive at Microsoft in Redmond, Wash., where he managed groups in corporate and international marketing, channel sales, product development, business development, and government affairs.

As an entrepreneur Mr. Buhl has bought and sold his own companies as well as having started several companies from scratch, including a successful management consulting practice that has structured industry-specific joint ventures to assist clients with national business development and strategic marketing.

Mr. Buhl started his career in Chicago in advertising agency account management where he worked with national clients such as General Mills, McDonald’s, Wrigley, Pillsbury, and Wilson Sporting Goods.

Karl has his BA from Michigan State University and MSJ from Northwestern University.

Boaz Vinogradov

Prior to engaging with Navocate, Boaz Vinogradov was Managing Partner of iFinancial, LLC—a company that raised capital for hi-tech start-ups and venture capital funds.

2003 - 2007 - Boaz served as Vice President of Business Development for Nova Measuring Instruments, Ltd. (NASDAQ: NVMI).

1997 - 2002 - He served as President of Nova, Inc.

1994 - 1997 - Boaz was President of Card Guard, Inc., an Israeli medical device start-up that went public on the Swiss stock exchange.

1989 - 1994 - Mr. Vinogradov served in various positions with Orbotech (NASDAQ: ORBK), including VP of Asia Pacific Operations in Hong Kong.

Boaz holds his Masters in General Administration (M.G.A.) from the University of Maryland. He is director on the board of Entrepix, Inc. He previously served on the boards of Nova, Inc.; Orbotech Pacific; SimPod, Inc.; eCable, LLC; iFinancial, LLC, and AEL, Ltd. Mr. Vinogradov has also co-authored and sold three Internet patents.

Business Intermediaries

Paul Winkle

Paul Winkle joined Navocate in 2011 to provide investment banker quality services to the underserved Emerging Companies segment targeted by Navocate. Paul has 28 years' experience in Financial Services and Consulting. He has participated in dozens of IPOs as a Series-4, 7, 24, and 63 licensed broker while managing five branch brokerage offices. Mr. Winkle's fundamental and technical analytical skills has enabled him to perform due diligence for multiple companies by creating and analyzing pro formas, and by calculating valuations and CAP structures.

Through his consulting firm Paul assembled a working group that has guided companies through the self-underwriting Direct Public Offering (DPO) process. Paul has also assisted companies in evaluating possible acquisition and strategic partnering targets.

Paul has a history of providing high-impact consulting services to effect client companies' goals. He will continue to focus his M&A experience with Navocate working on both buy-side and sell-side transactions, and by helping client companies' grow through targeted acquisitions.

Craig McMahan

Craig joined Navocate in 2008. He focuses on main street and cross-over businesses.

Before joining Navocate in 2008, Craig spent five years as a top producing agent with EXIT Extreme Realty where he won the EXIT Excellence Award in 2005 and 2006, and the EXIT Team Player Award in 2006. In February 2008 Realtor.com presented Craig with the Award of Excellence. This award was given to only 21 of over 10,000 Realtors® in the Tampa Bay area for their excellence in online marketing.

Craig is a certified e-PRO, an elite group of Realtors who earn the only technology certification offered by the National Association of Realtors. Only 2% of the nation’s 1 million plus Realtors are e-PRO certified.

Craig McMahan has a BA in Marketing from Western Michigan University.
